The New Forest and Hampshire County Show is an annual agricultural show held for three days at the end of July at New Park, Brockenhurst in Hampshire. This year it is taking place on 29th 30th, 31st July and there is an exciting line-up of events for all the family to enjoy. Join in with the fabulous Longdown Easter trail, which is suitable for the whole family. Search for the clutches of eggs in their special nests, hidden around the Farm. Children will receive a little yummy chocolate treat at the end of the trail. Also, for older children and adults, keep a look out for the very special golden eggs: ten will be hidden around the Farm at the beginning of each day. They are VERY hard to find, so an 'eggs-tra' special chocolate gift will be given to those who are fortunate enough to find one! Easter Sunday only (20th April 2014): Every child that arrives at the Farm in their own Easter bonnet will be allowed entry at a concessionary rate of £4.50 each. (Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.)

The Big Lunch is being held on Sunday 2nd June between 1.00pm - 4.00pm at the Saxon Shopping Centre Christchurch. The Big Lunch is a very simple idea from the Eden Project which aims to get as many people as possible across the whole of the UK to have lunch with their neighbours once a year in a simple act of community, friendship and fun.
